Cofina has a monthly capacity of 2000 metric tons for the preparation and selection of the different qualities ASE, ASS, ASSS, and for special preparations in accordance with customers requirements.
Our product is dispatched in 69 kg. Jute bags, and exported in ventilated containers or dry containers for our customers around the world.
ISO 9000-2000, Organic and BASC certification are under process.
All our cocoa is controlled and verified by private surveyors such as cotecna or Alex Steward. .
History
Chocolates finos nacionales was founded in October 1993. And started its activities in cocoa bean purchase and exports in April 1994 in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Infraestructure
We have the newest facilities, opened in year 2000 at Km 11 via Duran-Tambo, this location allows an easy entrance to all producers and sellers of cocoa in the country. This new facility has 15,000 square meters area designated to dry cocoa beans, technically built to an optimums dry and rain protection. It also has 2,000 square meters covered warehouse with a large capacity of 3000 metric tons specially made to keep the product save and fresh. 1,700 square meters of roofed area to charge and discharged the product, anytime during the day no matter weather conditions.
